Recognizing a need, our legislators created the Kentucky Recreational Trails Authority (KRTA). The mission of KRTA is to enhance Kentucky's economy by expanding tourism opportunities for motorized and non-motorized off-road trail activities, including hiking, cycling, horseback riding and off-highway vehicle riding.
